RATIFICATION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE
WHEREAS, by Warranty Deed dated April 26, 2005 and recorded in Bk 583, Pg
755, WILL J. HUNT and SARA E. HUNT acquired an interest in the following lands
from V CROSS CATTLE COMPANY, to-wit.
A parcel of land located in Tract 51, Section 4, T24N-R114W of the 6th P.M., Lincoln
County, Wyoming, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly comer of said parcel, an aluminum cap monument
hereinafter abbreviated "ACM" lying N 33 degrees 03'53" W, from comer number 2,
Tract 51, Section 4, said comer 2, being a GLO brass cap monument per the approved
resurvey plat;
Then N 73 degrees i0' 46" W, 230 fl along the southwesterly boundary of said parcel, to
an ACM for the southwesterly comer of said parcel;
Thence N 16 degrees 49' 14" E, 189.39 fl to an ACM for the northwesterly comer of said
parcel;
Thence S 73 degrees 10' 46" W, 230 ft to an ACM for the northeasterly corner of said
parcel;
Thence S 16 degrees 49' 14" W, 189.39 ft to the point of beginning.
Containing 1/10 of one acre, more or less.
WHEREAS, that certain Oil and Gas Lease dated June 15, 2005 between V
CROSS CATTLE COMPANY, as Lessor, and DAVIS PETROLEUM CORP., as Lessee,
recorded in Book ~'~/0 , pg 12..3 of the records of Lincoln County, Wyoming, includes
the above described lands, among other lands, and such lease is owned by DAVIS
PETROLEUM CORP. and covers the following described lands, to-wit:
Township 24 North, Range 114 West, 6th PM
Sections 4 and 5: Tract 51 (154.94 acres), Tract 52 (40 acres), Tract 56 (40 acres) and the most
easterly 40 acre division of Tract 53 (40 acres)
Township 25 North, Range 114 West, 6th PM
Sections 35 and 36:
Township 24 North, Range 114 West, 6th PM
Section 4:
Tract 37 (Containing 160 acres)
Containing 435 acres, more or less
NOW THEREFORE: in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other
good and valuable consideration, we, WILL J. HUNT AND SARA E. HUNT, husband
and wife, as Joint Tenants, and each of us, do hereby ratify, approve, confirm, and adopt
the above described oil and gas lease in so far as it covers the lands recited in Warranty
Deed recorded in Bk 583, Pg 755, and do hereby lease, demise and let said lands unto
DAVIS PETROLEUM CORP. subject to and under all of the terms and provisions of
said lease, and as to said lands, and do hereby agree and declare that said lease is now in
full force and effect; that payment has been duly made of the entire bonus consideration
and each of the undersigned agree that any royalty which may be paid under the terms of
said lease with respect to the subject lands described in Warranty Deed recorded in Bk
583, Pg 755 shall be divided as follows:

This instrument shall be fully binding upon, and effective as to the interest of each
of the above named persons who executes the same, without regard to execution or lack
of execution by the others or by any other person whomsoever.
We, and each of us hereby release and waive all rights of dower and homestead in
the above identified land, and the provisions hereof shall be binding upon the heirs, legal
representatives, successors, and assigns of each of us.
