HomeMy WebLinkAbout91091700387 SHERIFF'S DEED WHEREAS, Jay Bookhout and Tammy Bookhout, husband and wife, tenants by the entireties, were the owners of record of certain property in Lincoln County, Wyoming, said property being more particularly described as Lot 1 of the Poplar Amended Subdivision, Lincoln County, Wyoming, as depicted on the official plat thereof, pursuant to the Warranty Deed that was recorded in the land records of Lincoln County, Wyoming in Book 483 PR at Page 939 on February 21, 2002 as Instrument No. 879301; and WHEREAS, said property was mortgaged by said owners to Joseph R. Newman and Canna Newman, husband and wife, throUgh a Mortgage that was recorded in the land records of Lincoln County, Wyoming in Book 483 PR at Pages 940 and 941 on February 21, 2002 as Instrument No. 879302; and WHEREAS, after said owners defaulted on said Mortgage on said property, the Sheriff of Lincoln County, Wyoming held a foreclosure sale at the Lincoln County Courthouse, in Kemmerer, Wyoming on the said property, pursuant to said Mortgage and Wyoming Statutes §§ 34-4-101 et seq., Foreclosure by Advertisement and Sale, at 10:00 a.m. on the 19th of April, 2005; and WltEREAS, Joseph R. Newman and Carma Newman, husband and wife, were the successful bidders on the said property at the foreclosure sale, as shown on the Certificate of Purchase that was recorded in the land records of Lincoln County, Wyoming in Book 583 PR at Page 313 on April 19, 2005 as Receiving No. 907734; and WHEREAS, no one has appeared to redeem the said property under the laws of the State of Wyoming within the time provided therefore under Wyoming law. NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THIS DEED, that I, LEE S. GARDNER, SHERIFF OF LINCOLN COUNTY, WYOMING, in consideration of the premises, have granted and sold, and do hereby convey to JOSEPH R. NEWMAN and CARMA NEWMAN, husband and wife, tenants by the entireties, 256 West 200 North #43, Mount Pleasant, Utah 84647, and their heirs and assigns, the following described tract of land, to have and to hold the described premises with all appurtenances thereunto appertaining: Lot 1 of the Poplar Amended Subdivision, Lincoln County, Wyoming, as depicted on the official plat thereof.
