I am a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, and am over the age of twenty-one years. 2. I am a paralegal, employed by Lear & Lear L.L.P., experienced in dealing with county records and the on-line, electronic records of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission ("WOGCC"). 3. A search performed in the records of the Recorder's Office in Lincoln County, Wyoming, disclosed a private oil and gas lease, issued by Thompson Land and Livestock Company to Sun Exploration and Production Company, dated November 27, 1984, and recorded December 4, 1984, in Book 221, Page 508 (the "Sun Lease"), which was not released of record. The primary term stated in the lease was five years from November 27, 1984. 4. My review of the on-line, electronic records of the WOGCC, including the attached production records covering Township 23 North, Range 118 West, 6t.h P.M., discloses that these there has been no oil or gas production on these lands, particularly during the 5 year primary term of the Sun Lease (see attached Appendix "A"). 5. By its own terms, the Sun Lease expired at the end of its primary term, on November 27, 1989, due to lack of production. 6. The land affected by this Affidavit is Section 12 in Township 23 North, Range 118 West, 6th P.M. 7. This affidavit is placed of record for the purpose of evidencing that the Sun Lease has expired by its own terms and is no longer a valid lease {00018430.1} ¡!)·<"1I.o-",s vOU;~..L 8.
