HomeMy WebLinkAbout959020'6011019541 SHERIFF'S DEED 000751 WHEREAS, Karla Goodman, as mortgagor(s), mortgaged to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for First Horizon Home Loan Corporation, as mortgagee, the hereinafter described real property by that certain mortgage dated October 16, 2006 (the "Mortgage and duly recorded in the records of the office of the County Clerk and ex- officio Register of Deeds in and for Lincoln County, State of Wyoming, on October 17, 2006, at Reception No. 923472 in Book 637 at Page 415. The mortgage and note secured thereby were assigned for value as follows: Assignee: MetLife Home Loans, a division of MetLife Bank, N.A. Assignment dated: December 12, 2008 Assignment recorded: December 26, 2008 Assignment recording information: at Reception No. 944351 in Book 711 at Page 834 Assignee: Federal National Mortgage Association Assignment dated: July 12, 2010 Assignment recorded: September 14, 2010 Assignment recording information: at Reception No. 955499 in Book 753 at Page 625 All in the records of the County Clerk and ex- officio Register of Deeds in and for Lincoln County, Wyoming; and WHEREAS, the Mortgage being in default, the undersigned Sheriff in and for Lincoln County, State of Wyoming, pursuant to the request and direction of Federal National Mortgage Association, acting under a power of sale contained in the Mortgage, proceeded to advertise for sale and did sell the hereinafter described real property on December 7, 2010, at 10:00 o'clock in the forenoon, at public venue, at the front door of the Lincoln County Courthouse located at 925 Sage Avenue, Kemmerer, WY, Lincoln County, State of Wyoming; and WHEREAS, Federal National Mortgage Association "Successful Bidder made the highest and best bid for the hereinafter described real property in the sum of $213,859.42, and the said real property was then and there sold to the Successful Bidder on December 7, 2010 "Sale Date and a Certificate of Sale was issued by the undersigned Sheriff in and for Lincoln County, State of Wyoming, to the Successful Bidder, on the Sale Date, which Certificate of Sale was duly recorded in the records of the office of the County Clerk and ex- officio Register of Deeds in and for Lincoln County, State of Wyoming, on December 7, 2010, at Reception No. 957061 in Book 758 at Page 405; WHEREAS, no one has appeared to redeem the hereinafter described real property under the laws of the State of Wyoming, and the time for doing so has now expired; NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that I, Shane Johnson, Sheriff in and for said County of Lincoln, State of Wyoming, in consideration of the premises, have GRANTED, BARGAINED, and SOLD, and do hereby TRANSFER and CONVEY, to said FEDERAL NATIONAL MORTGAGE ASSOCIATION, whose address is P.O. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said described premises, together with all improvements thereon erected and all fixtures and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to FEDERAL NATIONAL MORTGAGE ASSOCIATION, its successors and assigns forever.
