HomeMy WebLinkAbout971002WHEREAS, a certain mortgage was executed by Corbin Read and Kristine Read, husband and wife, to 1s Bank, dated June 30, 2011, and recorded in the County Clerk's Office, Lincoln County, Wyoming, on July 1, 2011, in Book 768PR at Page 762 as Document No. 959906, and said mortgage was then assigned to Wyoming Community Development Authority on June 30, 2011, and the Assignment was recorded in the County Clerk's Office, Lincoln County, Wyoming, on July 1, 2011, in Book 768PR at Page 775 as Document No. 959907. The said Mortgage was foreclosed under Sections 34 -4 -101 through 34 -4 -113, of Wyo. Stat. Ann. (2013), after advertisement as required in the statutes and the property was sold for the sum of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars and 00 /100 ($85,000.00) to Wyoming Community Development Authority, it being the highest bidder. The property was sold at 10:00 a.m. on January 8, 2013, in Kemmerer, Wyoming; and WHEREAS, Pursuant to Wyo. Stat. Ann 34 -4 -108 (2013), Wyoming Community Development Authority, as Mortgagee, purchased the property foreclosed upon for the amount of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars and 00 /100 ($85,000.00); and WHEREAS, Wyoming Community Development Authority was issued a Certificate of Sale and as holder of the Certificate of Sale is now entitled to a conveyance thereof according to the law. NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned Sheriff of Lincoln County, Wyoming, in consideration of the sum of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars and 00 /100 ($85,000.00) paid by the said holder, hereby conveys to Wyoming Community Development Authority and its assignees the following described real estate located in Lincoln County, Wyoming, to have and to hold the described premises and all appurtenances to the said Wyoming Community Development Authority and its assignees forever: Part of Lot 2 of Block 28 of Afton Townsite, Lincoln County, Wyoming, being described as follows: COMMENCING at a point which is 9 1/3 rods South from the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; and running thence East 6 rods and 12 feet; thence South 4 2/3 rods; thence West 6 rods and 12 feet; thence North 4 2/3 rods to the Point of Beginning WITNESS the signature of said Sheriff of Lincoln County, Wyoming, this (5 day of RECEIVED 5/15/2013 at 3:22 PM RECEIVING 971002 BOOK: 811 PAGE: 589 JEANNE WAGNER LINCOLN COUNTY CLERK, KEMMERER, WY STATE OF WYOMING COUNTY OF LINCOLN for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
