PROPOSAL: This is a request to vacate Lots 1, 2 and 5 of the Bedford Hide-A-Way Estates Subdivision. Lots 1, 2 and 5 are currently being used for agricultural purposes. The project site is accessed off of Deer Road and within the Rural Zone.
LOCATION: Located 2.2 miles east of the Town of Thayne, Wyoming, in T34N, R118W, Section 21.

PLANNING STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Planning staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners APPROVE File #816 AP 24, Vacation of Lots 1, 2 and 5 of Bedford Hide-A-Way Estates, with:
● Findings of Approval A. thru D.
● A Resolution of Approval.

FINDINGS OF APPROVAL:
A. The proposed partial plat vacation is consistent with the provisions of W.S. 18-5-301, et seq.
authorizing counties to regulate subdivision proposals. B. The proposed partial plat vacation is consistent with the provisions of W.S. 34-12-106 through 110, providing for plat vacation and partial plat vacation where such vacating does not abridge or destroy any of the rights and privileges of other proprietors in said plat.
C. The proposal is consistent with the provisions of the Lincoln County Comprehensive Plan for
efficient land use planning. D. The proposal is consistent with the provisions of the Lincoln County Land Use Regulations, including: a. Chapter Four, Subdivisions, including plat amendments and plat vacations.
