THIS CERTIFICATE OF PURCHASE, made and delivered this 11 th day of December, 2001,
by the undersigned Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff of the COunty of Lincoln, State of Wyoming, to Glenn
Thoreson.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on August 14, 1997, Oscar A. Sanchez and Cynthia Sanchez, as of the date of'
the mortgage, did make, execute and deliver that certain real estate mortgage to Glenn Thoreson,
wherein and whereby there was conveyed and mortgaged unto said Mortgagee the real property
described as follows:
A portion of Lot Six (6) of Block Six (6) of the Town of Kemmerer,
Lincoln County, Wyoming described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly Comer of said Lot and continuing in
a Southerly direction perpendicular to Pearl Street, a distance of fifty
feet; thence at a right angle and in a Westerly direction parallel to said
Pearl Street, a distance of forty feet; thence at a right angle and in a
Northerly direction perpendicular to said Pearl Street, a' distan¢,e of
fifty feet; the_.nce at a right angle and in an Easterly direction hnd
parallel to said Pearl Street, a distance of forty feet to the place of
beginning.
Together with all singular the improvements or thereunto
appertaining, (the Property).
Purported Common Address: 314 Pearl Street, Kemmerer, Wyoming.
for the purpose of securing the payment of Mortgagor's $19,000.00 note of August 14, 1997 (the
"Note"). The mortgage was recorded with the Lincoln County Clerk's Office on August 14, 1997,
in Book 400PR at Page 460 as Instrument No. 842443; and
WHEREAS, default has occurred in the payment of the principal and interest on the Note
secured by said mortgage, and the mortgage contained a full power of sale therein specified and
provided by law, and 'no suit or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt remaining
secured by 'the mortgage or any part thereof; and
WHEREAS, notice as required by law has been given and published of the sale of said
premises by being published for four (4) consecutive Weeks prior to December 11, 2001, in the
Kemmerer Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation prifited and published at Lincoln County,
Wyoming, and that said Notice of Sale specified:
1. The name of the Mortgagor, the Mortgagee and any assignees, if any;
2. The date of the mortgage, the time when recorded and the place where recorded;
3. The amounts claimed to be due on the mortgage at the date of the Notice of Sale;
4. The description of the mortgaged premises, conforming to that contained in the
mortgage; and
5. The time and place of sale;
WHEREAS, the sale was held at public vendue in accordance with said Notice of Sale and
Foreclosure\Thoreson\Certifi cate of Purchase-Thoreson
at the time and place therein set forth, to-wit: On December 11, 2001, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the front
door of the Lincoln County Courthouse, Kemmerer, Lincoln County, Wyoming, the sale being made
by the undersigned; and
WHEREAS, at the sale, Glenn Thoreson purchased the real estate above described for the
sum of $., O ?X-I, " ;.
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the sale, the purchase and the payment (amount of bid if
purchased by Mortgagee) of the money as aforesaid by the purchaser, and by virtue of the authority
vested in me by law, I hereby give and grant this my CER2~FICATE OF PURCHASE to said Glenn
Thoreson, and do hereby certify that at the time of the expiration of the period of redemption
provided by law, by virtue of the sale, provided only that the real estate is not redeemed prior to that
time, I will give and grant unto the purchaser or its assignee, a deed conveying all of the title in and
to the premises and all thereof, held by the Mortgagor, at the time of the execution of the mortgage,
or at any time since acquired.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have duly executed this CERTIFICATE OF PURCHASE, in
duplicate, the day and year first above written.
