West between .Sections 28 and 33 for the Closing Corner on the
west line of the State of Wyoming.
50.16 Intersect the Territorial line between Wyoming and Idaho --
Set a sandstone 20x8x6 ins. 14 ins. in ground for Closing Corner
marked CC on E with 5 notches on N & 1 on Sedges -- dug pits
18x18x12 ins. N, E, & S of cor. 5t ft. dist. and raised a
mound of earth 2 ft. high 4t ft. base alongside.
The Closing Cor. is 3.74 chs. N of 2 pits - 24x24 ins. N & S of
a post 6 ins. sq. & 7 ft. high marked Wyoming and E, Idaho on
W, 24 W L 1874 on N 144 M on S.
Found: --
A 3/8x12 ins. steel spike in N/S gravel road bed of Freedom North
County Road No. 12-114. Also found a 2 ins. galvanized steel
pipe (BLM type) with brass cap inscribed as shown, as a Witness
Corner. Wly. 1.5 ft. of E. ROW fence line. 0.8 ft. above
ground. Tire casing around with mound of stone in tire casing.
W. C. was marked incorrectly. Changed 32.0 ft. to 34.0 ft.
Nothing.
