Spurlock dated October 2002. 1903 - Stahle and Van Orsdel. Set a sandstone 18xl0x4 ins. 12 ins. in the ground, for cor. of secs. 25, 26, 35 and 36 marked with 1 notch on S. and E. edges; dug pits, 18xl8x12 ins. in each sec. 512 ft. dist.; and raised a mound of earth, 4 ft. base, 2 ft. high, W. of cor. 80.00 a::<.o¡ ._~... ld~~ ~":Þ','I.,jj',: ~..~ sandstone 16x4x9 ins. above ground 18x4x12 total marked 4/38 on S. face with >:;';: green steel fence post alongside to E. with a mound of stone in tire casing to S. ldtTi Possible original mound of stone to NW and mound of earth to W. ~~$xtensive search was made to locate original section comer monument without ~ success. Inasmuch as the stone describe for both monuments is substantially '~!~~L the same, it was concluded that in fact there was only one stone for both monu- ments though section comer marks could not be ascertained.
