The following properly, known as the Kemmerer ¢1 sanita~ landfill (SHWD File ¢10.345) has been used for the disposal of municipal solid waste: A parcel of land located in Section 31, Township 21 North, Range 115 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Lincoln County, Wyoming more particulady described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the South Lincoln County' landfill parcel as described and recorded in book 221, page 128 on file at the Lincoln County court house, said corner being an aluminum cap monument, inscribed "Surveyor Sherbel" LS 164, 1984; thence, N18°18'30"E along the easterly boundary of said parcel, 508.43 feet to an aluminum cap monument similarly inscribed; thence N18°18'35"E along said boundary 1682.09 feet to a rebar and aluminum cap monument inscribed PLS 558, 2000; thence N28°41'00"W 849.46 feet to a rebar and aluminum cap monument similarly inscribed; thence N71°08'30"W 526.10 feet to a rebar and aluminum cap monument similarly inscribed, said monument located on the westerly boundary of said South Lincoln County landfill parcel; thence S20°07'30"W along said westedy boundary 374.79 feet to an aluminum cap monument inscribed Surveyor Sherbel LS 164, 1984; thence S20°07'30"W along said boundary 1609.34 feet to an aluminum cap monument similarly inscribed; thence S22°35'30"W along said boundary 926.09 feet to an aluminum cap monument similarly inscribed; thence S77°34'00"E along the southerly boundary of said parcel 1286.07 feet to the corner of beginning. Enclosing an area of 73.88 acres more or less. The environmental monitoring system at this'site includes nine groundwater monitoring wells (KGW-1 through KGW-9) and two methane monitoring wells (KMG-1 and KMG-2). Some of these wells are located outside of the permit area. There are no surface Water control structures at this site. The final cover system at this site includes a minimum of 2 feet of compacted soil and 6 inches of topsoil. The final cover system may be thicker in portions of this facility. Disturbance or excavation of these wastes, the environmental monitoring system, or the final cover system sh°uld be avoided. The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Solid And Hazardous Waste Division should be contacted pdor to any excavation or other activity that may disturb this site. T.
