This deed made this 13th day of April, 2004 between.,E~t~_~ardner,~,$henff of the County of
Lincoln, State of Wyoming, grantor herein, and LaMont R. Merritt, grantee herein.
RECITALS
1. On August 8, 1997, Blaine R Merritt and PatriCia E. Merritt, husband and wife and
as Trustees of the Merritt Family Trust dated September 13, 1991, executed a Mortgage as
mortgagors to LaMont R. Merritt as mortgagee, said Mortgage having been recorded in the Office
of the Lincoln County Clerk on September 11, 1998, in Book 417 of PR, Page 210.
2 15ursuant to publication of'Notice of Foreclosure Sale the tract of land which was the
subject of the Mortgage was sold at public auction at Kemmerer, Wyoming, on December 12, 2003,
at 10:00 a.m, pursuant to W.S. 34-4-101 et seq.
3. Pursuant to said sale at public auction a Certificate of Purchase was issued to the
purchaser, the grantee herein, and no assignment of that certificate has been made since that time.
The Certificate of Purchase was recorded in the office of the Lincoln County Clerk on December
12, 2003, in Book 543 of PR, Page 727.
NOW, THEREFORE, know all men by this deed, that I, Lee Gardner, Sheriff of the County
of Lincoln, in consideration of the premises, have granted and sold and do hereby convey to
grantee, his successors and assigns, the following tract of land located in Lincoln County,
Wyoming, 'to-wit:
Parcel 1:
Commencing at a point which is the SE corner of the NWI/4SE1/4 of Section 28,
T32N, R119W, 6th P.M., and running thence Northwesterly 20 rods, more or less, to
a point which is 7 rods North from the South boundary line of the said NW1/4SE1/4,
thence West 60 rods to the West boundary line of said NWl/4SE1/4; thence South
7 rods, thence East 80 rods to the point of beginning. RESERVING a 2 rod right of
way along the North fence line as an access road. Lincoln County, Wyoming.
Parcel 2:
A tract of land lying in the SW1/4SE1/4 of Section 28, T32N, R119W of the 6th P.M.,
Lincoln County, Wyoming, more padicularly described as follows: Beginning at the
NE corner of said SW1/4SE1/4, Section 28, and proceeding thence South 5 rods;
thence West 32 rods; thence Nodh 5 rods; thence East 32 rods to the point of
beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the described premises with all appurtenances to the said
grantees, their successors and assigns, forever.
