releasing and waiving all rights under and by virtue of the homestead exemption laws of the state

particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the northeast corner of said Lot 2 and running thence West
4 rods;
thence South 12 rods;
thence East 4 rods;
thence North 12 rods to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT, however, to all reservations, restrictions, protective covenants, exceptions,
easements and rights-of-way of record, in sight, or in use.
